We specialize in providing support services in the fields of education and training. Our activities are centered on creating a supportive environment for individuals and institutions to enhance skills and acquire knowledge through the latest digital, printed, and remote learning methods.
Tax Compliance“Skills” is fully committed to complying with all tax regulations and legislation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including the application of Value Added Tax (VAT) to taxable services and products. VAT is calculated at the legally defined rates and clearly itemized in all invoices. Course fees and accompanying materials are treated as a Composite Supply to ensure the correct tax rate is applied to the complete integrated package. The establishment is committed to submitting all tax returns and payments by the legally prescribed deadlines.
Services: Education and Training Activities We operate as a technical and administrative link to support the educational and training process. Our services include: providing educational content and supportive tools via the internet and correspondence.
Certificate and Accreditation Policy The programs and courses we offer are primarily aimed at Self-Development and the enhancement of personal and professional skills. Consequently, the affirmations or certificates issued by the establishment are Certificates of Attendance and Participation. These documents verify the completion of the training program and the acquisition of the stated skill but do not constitute formal academic qualifications or equivalent degrees to those issued by traditional, formal educational institutions.
Export of Educational Materials and Accompanying Resources The training packages, books, and tools provided to participants are considered an integral part of the core training service (Composite Supply). These tools are necessary to ensure optimal interaction with and assimilation of the course content. Therefore, these materials are handled as a single package with the course fees (Integrated Package) to ensure the participant receives the complete educational experience.
Shipping & Handling Policy Shipping and Handling Fees: Due to the nature of the educational materials accompanying the course, which require special care in preparation, we note that the fee itemized on the invoice under “Shipping” is a comprehensive charge covering both Shipping and Handling services. This fee covers the costs paid to the courier or express mail company for delivery, as well as the services related to preparation and packaging.
Policy for Dealing with Minor Participants (Children) “Skills” affirms that all its educational and training services are provided remotely (online and remote learning) and do not require or accept any physical or direct presence at the establishment’s premises.
Regarding participants who are Minors (under the legal age), the establishment stipulates the following:
- Parental Consent: Enrollment in any program or training course by a Minor must be under the direct supervision and written consent of the parent or legal guardian.
- Supervisory Responsibility: The parent or legal guardian assumes full responsibility for monitoring the Minor’s use of the services and ensuring the Minor adheres to all terms, conditions, and usage policies of the establishment.
- Transactions and Payment: All financial transactions, agreements, and official correspondence related to the Minor’s registration are conducted exclusively with the parent or legal guardian.
Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment consistent with the nature of remote learning, prioritizing the protection of Minors’ data and transactions through the full involvement of their parents.
